Black Copper Marans are known for their deep chocolate brown eggs. Please note that egg color/saturation decreases further into the season and will "reset" after each molt.
Black Copper Marans tend to be docile. They handle the cold and hot weather well here in Utah.
The eggs pictured are example from my flock, not the eggs you will receive. I see eggs in my flock from 4-8 on the Marans color card. I can not guarantee the shade color hatched chicks will lay or if they will get speckling.
Hens weigh on average: 6 lbs
Roosters weigh, on average: 7-8lbs
Average Yearly Egg Production: 150-200
Age to Maturity: 25 weeks
